Plum and apricot Fruit leather candy: 8 steps



I love candy. This is an easy to do, healthy but very tasty treat. Give it a try!

Step 1: Ingredients

The only three ingredients you need to get it done are the fruits (500 g) and the sugar (120 g ) but with some spices they make it taste much better. I used cinamon, star anise and red pepper for plum, which for apricot I used only fresh rosemary.

Step 2: Cleaning the fruits.

I had to use alredy prepared apricots because the fresh ones were no longer available where I live.

As for the plums, wash them then remove the seed by cutting the fruit in half.

Step 4:

Then add the spice and let it cook until the sauce becomes thicker.

Then remove all large pieces of spices like star anise.

Step 5: Pour the first

Pour the thicker paste first, Pour so that when you cut it each piece has both types of fruit. After pouring it out, it spread with the back of a kitchen spoon or a silicone spatula.

Step 6: Pouring the Second Fruit

After pouring it spread it to the edge of the first pour. Then mix them with a small fork or spoon in a circular pattern.

Step 7: Drying and preparation for serving

Dry it in an oven first at 55 Celsius overnight (for me it took about 10 hours but the actual time depends on the humidity and thickness of the air, so it is advisable to watch once in a while after the fifth hour) let it cure in the open air. After doing so, you have cut the plate and cut the straight stripes around 3 cm in width.

Step 8: Serving

After cutting leave the parchment paper on them and rolls them. You can tie any string around them to prevent them from rolling up.
