How to season a drop



When you buy a new roof tile, you definitely want to take care of it so that it lasts a lifetime. Seasoning your barbecue is an easy way to create a non-stick rock and add flavor to every dish you cook. Seasoning with oil will also prevent rust from forming on a lime. If you already have a roasted grill plate, be sure to remove the grill completely and then season it to prevent it from happening again in the future.

  1. Clean a brand new tap with soap and water . If you have just bought a brand new tap, it is important to wash it with soap and water before you taste. To do this, fill a small bucket of water and pour in some mild soap. Mix it and slowly pour a small amount over your grill. Scrub the soap mixture on the grill with a sponge and then rinse it off with a bundle of paper towels. [1]

    • Do not use soap on a used or older dish. It can damage the surface.
  2. Remove any leftover food or debris from an older tip. If you want to season a grill that has already been used, make sure the surface is clean and free of food or debris. Use a metal spatula or scraper to remove any jams in the mess. Then wipe away debris from the surface. [2]

    • Scrape off food while the stove is still warm. This will make it easier to remove than if the grid is cold.
    • Use table salt and warm water for extra tough foods that are difficult to remove. To do this, pour salt on a hot grill pan, scrub it with a towel, then remove the salt and rinse with water.
  3. Heat the grill on high for 10-15 minutes. Now that your thinning is clean, turn it on all the way up to the highest setting and allow it to heat for about 10-15 minutes. If this is a new frying pan, wait until the surface blackens. This allows the oil to burn on the surface. [3]

  4. Pour cooking oil on the grill and spread it with a paper towel. To spice up a thank you, you must add oil to it. Use of oil per gallon. Food oils rich in fatty acids are best because they will bind to the grill. When you have spread a good amount of oil on the grill, use several layers of dry paper towel to spread it evenly on the surface. [4]

    • The best oils for seasoning are olive oil, sesame oil, rapeseed oil, vegetable oil, coconut oil and linseed oil.
    • Be careful not to burn your fingers. You can use pliers or heat-resistant gloves to hold the paper towel if you are worried about the heat.
    • Be sure to spread the oil around the edges and corners.
  5. Let the oil sit on the heated pot for about 20 minutes. Let the oil sit for at least 20-30 minutes, or until it burns off the hair tip. During this time you will notice that smoke comes from the surface. When the grill stops smoking the oil is done with burning and you can turn off the grill and let it cool. [5]

  6. Repeat the process of adding and spreading oil at least 2 times. It requires more than just a coating of oil to safely drop. To ensure that the grill has a good nonstick plate and is fully coated, heat the grill again and add more oil. Repeat the previous step to add oil and spread it with a paper towel. [6]

      1. Place the tap on high heat and let it sit for 20 minutes. Before attempting to remove rust from the grille, turn on the heat. This heat will loosen any jammed food or corrosion before you even start scratching. This will make it easier to remove. [7]

      2. Use a metal scraper or spatula to remove debris on the surface. Before removing the griddle, make sure the plate plate is completely free from food debris. If it is stuck to the surface, scrape it off with a metal scraper. You can also use a metal spatula if you do not have a grill scraper. [8]

      3. Let the gap cool and start scraping off the grate. Turn off the heat on the grill and then use your scraper to start removing that rust. You must use a lot of force to do this, as rust is not easy to remove. Scrape away as much as you can before moving on to the next step.

        • Do not use water with the scraper during this step. Water and moisture are the main cause of rust, so you don't want to aggravate the condition.
      4. Pour 4-5 tablespoons cooking oil onto the grill and use a grill stone to scrub off the grate. When you have scraped off as much of the rust as possible, pour some cooking oil on the grill plate. Then use a barbecue block to scrub around the rusty surface.         • If you do not have a barbecue stone, try using steel wool or sandpaper.
      5. Wipe the dampers with paper towels until the surface is dry. When you have scrubbed rust with the grill stone, take a bundle of paper towels and wipe it off until it is dry. This will remove any rust on your grill pan.

        • If there is still rust on the grill, add more oil to the surface and then dry again with more dry paper towels. Continue repeating this step until there is little or no residue after drying it with the paper towel.

      [ Edit ] Tips

      • Avoid using detergent to clean your pot after seasoning. It will strip all the oils and eventually undo your seasoning.
      • If you do not use your thinning regularly, make sure to season it at least every two weeks to avoid rust.
