Getting a facial is exciting, but it can be daunting if you don't feel confident in your skin. Many wonder if you need to squeeze in a little demanded face before meetings. However, preparing for a facial treatment does not have to be complicated, as many estheticians actually prefer to see your skin exactly as on a regular day. - Avoid changing your routine right before facial. It is important for your facial assistant to look closely at how your skin is day to day. Some people try to add a lot of new skin care products to their routine the days before they get facial, but it is counterproductive. - Pick or shave facial hair at least 24 hours before the face. - Drink water and skip the caffeine to make sure you are moist. It is always a good idea to show up to a face meeting well hydrated, which can be as simple as having water all day before you show up. Especially if your meeting is in the morning, it is important to stay away from caffeine so that you can be ready to relax. 
- Don't drink too much that you feel you may need to use the bathroom during your time. If you need to go, try to do so before meetings begin.
- Bring your products to meetings. On the day of your meeting, pack all the skin care products you usually use during the week and be prepared to show them to your facialist. This gives them an opportunity to understand how your face is treated, as well as look at the ingredients.
- Be prepared for a certain amount of criticism. If you do not have a perfectly researched and personally tailored skin care system, your esthetician will probably have some suggestions on products to use instead, ones to add or ones that you can completely remove.

- Build your new routine in your old one. Once you have tried some of the products, it is important to integrate your new routine into your regular daily habits. You should stop using products that your facial therapist suggested you avoid and replace them with your new ones. 
- The new routine may be more time consuming, but try to carve out time for them.
- Exfoliate once a week, starting a week after your facial treatment. The glow from the face begins to disappear after about a week. If you want to keep it going strong, one of the best things you can do is use an exfoliating scrub or mask once a week before your next facial.
