Place the knotted end of the loop on the wrong side of fringed fabric. Safe to fabricate with over underlying seams.
(b) Roll the fabric tightly against the opposite end and stick through to the base on each turn.
At the free end of the tuft, make a ¼ inch fold towards the wrong side and slipstick in place.
You can use permanent cloth glue instead of needle and thread.
Experiments with composite pipes: use the same process to add another layer, length and color.
