Hair oils are excellent for moisturizing and conditioning all hair types. Although there are many commercial products available, it is quick, easy and inexpensive to make your own hair oil at home. Hair oils usually include a carrier oil such as coconut or olive oil, along with essential oils or plant materials.   1. Get coconut oil, castor oil and apricot kernel oil. You can find these oils in either health product stores or online. Use a measuring cup to measure out coconut oil, castor oil and apricot kernel oil in a bowl. [1]
