To wrap something, first find a flat surface and roll the wrapping paper so that the white side is facing up.
Place the item you are wrapping face up in the center of the paper. Take the edge of the wrapping paper and wrap it around the box so that it covers about half the box. Then roll the tube on the wrapping paper over the box all the way to the opposite end of the box. The box should now be completely covered in wrapping paper. Cut a straight line over the top layer with wrapping paper so that it overlaps the bottom layer by a few inches or centimeters. Now tape one side of the paper to the box. Fold over the other side of the paper and tape it as well. Then start on one side and hold the paper on the corner of the box. You will notice four triangular creases in each corner of the box. Use your fingers to fold each week to secure it in place. Then push down the top flap and fold the edge to secure it. Then push the bottom tab up so that it overlaps the top door. Fold the edge again to secure the fold. Secure with tape. Repeat this process on the other side. If you pack a cylindrical gift, you will load the item into tissue instead of wrapping paper. Wrap the tissue along the current round side and then tape it. Finish by turning both ends of the tissue closed. Wrap some tape around the twist and you're done!
