Steam broccoli without steam, start by cutting it into small pieces and place it in a microwave safe bowl with 3 tablespoons of water. Then cover the bowl with a lid and microwave for 3 to 4 minutes until the broccoli is soft with a brilliant emerald color. Add ¼ cup of water alternatively to a frying pan and bring to the boil. Then add the broccoli, put a lid on the frying pan and cook for 3 minutes on high heat. Then lower the heat and let the broccoli simmer for another 3 minutes.
